Devisenmarkt Äthiopien

Äthiopien verfügt über wirtschaftliche Stärken wie eine große und junge Bevölkerung, starkes langfristiges Wachstumspotenzial und umfangreiche landwirtschaftliche Flächen sowie Wasserkraftressourcen. Gleichzeitig bremsen politische Spannungen, Armut, Devisenmangel, hohe Staatsverschuldung und eine noch schwach ausgebaute Infrastruktur die Entwicklung. Die Wirtschaft ist stark landwirtschaftlich geprägt, insbesondere durch Kaffeeproduktion, Getreideanbau und Viehzucht. Daneben gewinnen Industrieparks, Textilproduktion, Bauwesen, Energieerzeugung und Dienstleistungen zunehmend an Bedeutung.
