Auf den 1. Jänner 2025 hin hatte die Nationalversammlung nämlich beschlossen, dass Wohnungen und Büros in Frankreich nicht mehr vermietet werden dürfen, wenn sie auf der siebenstufigen Energiespar-Skala den schlechtesten Wert G aufweisen. Ab 2028 soll auch die zweitschlechteste Stufe F unter das Verbot fallen. Das Vermietungsverbot für die Energieklassen E, F und G setzt den Immobilienmarkt in Frankreich unter Hochspannung, obwohl die Konjunktur eigentlich schwächelt. Die Regierung hat nun die Konsequenzen gezogen: Ende April hat sie angekündigt, dass sie das Vermietungsverbot für unsanierte Wohnungen aufweichen werde.. --- Die rot-grüne Regierung der Stadt Paris plant ihrerseits eine radikalere Lösung, um leere Wohnungen in den Immobilienmarkt zurückzubringen. Der im März neu gewählte Bürgermeister Emmanuel Grégoire will auf Leerwohnungen eine Strafsteuer erheben..
