Finnair is preparing to operate special flights from Muscat, Oman to Helsinki to bring home customers who have been stranded in Dubai, as flights have been cancelled due to the heightened security situation in the Middle East. Around 1,200 Finnair customers are currently in Dubai. The first flight is scheduled for Tuesday, 10 March, with more flights planned for later in the week. The flights will be operated only if the Oman's airspace is deemed safe for operations at the time.
