Capacitor Metals Corp. Announces Initiation of Metallurgical Test Program (The Newswire)

July 2, 2026 – TheNewswire - Capacitor Metals Corp. (the “Company” or “Capacitor”) is pleased to announce the initiation of the metallurgical program on material from the Upper Fir Tantalum & Niobium Deposit in British Columbia at SGS Burnaby under the direction of Michel Robert (M.Sc.). The goal of the program is to process raw material from the Upper Fir Deposit through to the production of a tantalum-niobium (Ta-Nb) flotation concentrate. Historic recovery rates for the flotation concentrate are +75%. It is intended that this concentrate will then be used to test the extraction and production of separated final tantalum and niobium oxides for delivery to industry.
The Company intends to transport 2 tonnes of crushed rock from the 2,000-tonne Upper Fir Deposit bulk sample to SGS Canada Burnaby, from the ~120 tonnes in storage in Richmond. It is expected that the pilot plant program will run until fall 2026.
