Anthropics neues KI-Modell: Mythos oder Realität (DZ Bank)

In der Welt der Cybersicherheit sorgte in den letzten Wochen ein Name für Furore und zunächst für erhebliche Unruhe an den Finanzmärkten: Claude Mythos. --- Anthropic selbst warnte eindringlich vor den potenziellen Risiken und bestätigte, dass Claude Mythos über außergewöhnliche Fähigkeiten verfügt, um Sicherheitslücken in Software autonom zu finden und auszunutzen. Laut Berichten hat das Modell bereits Tausende bisher unbekannte „Zero-Day“-Schwachstellen in allen wichtigen Betriebssystemen und Webbrowsern identifiziert. Aufgrund der „Dual-Use“-Problematik – die Fähigkeit, Systeme sowohl zu schützen als auch anzugreifen – hat Anthropic jedoch beschlossen, das Modell nicht für die allgemeine Öffentlichkeit freizugeben. Im Rahmen des Projekts „Glasswing“ soll es stattdessen ausgewählten Partnern, darunter namhafte Unternehmen wie Amazon, Apple, Broadcom, Cisco, Google, die Linux Foundation, Microsoft, Nvidia sowie die Cybersicherheitsunternehmen Palo Alto Networks und CrowdStrike, zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

Services Sector Contraction In March Screams Q1 Stagflation
Following S&P Global's Manufacturing PMI's better than expected print higher (signaling resilience in the face of March's war in Iran), the data released this morning showed the US Services Sector experienced a contraction of activity at the end of the first quarter of 2026.
The headline S&P Global US Services PMI Business Activity Index recorded 49.8 in March, down from February's 51.7 and lower than the earlier 'flash' estimate of 51.1.
It was the first decline recorded in over three years amid the weakest rise in new work since April 2024.
“The PMI survey data show the US economy buckling under the strain of rising prices and intensifying uncertainty, as the war in the Middle East exacerbates existing concerns regarding other policy decisions in recent months, notably with respect to tariffs," said Chris Williamson, Chief Business Economist at S&P Global Market Intelligence
