Starker Wendetag an den Börsen: Nachdem Brent zu Wochenbeginn noch Richtung 120 USD geschossen war, fiel der Ölpreis am Dienstag wieder unter 90 USD. Damit fiel der größte Belastungsfaktor für die Märkte weg: die Angst vor neuer Inflation und weiter steigenden Energiekosten. Der DAX schloss 2,44 % höher bei 23.965,94 Punkten und kletterte zwischenzeitlich wieder über 24.000 Punkte. Besonders gefragt waren Airlines. Lufthansa legte deutlich zu, auch Air France-KLM und Ryanair erholten sich. Bei den Firmen sorgte Volkswagen für Gesprächsstoff. Der Umsatz sank 2025 leicht auf 321,9 Mrd. Euro, das operative Ergebnis brach auf 8,9 Mrd. Euro ein. Zugleich will der Konzern rund 50.000 Stellen in Deutschland abbauen. Hochtief gewann in Schweden einen Großauftrag über rund 900 Mio. Euro. BioNTech meldete für 2025 einen Nettoverlust von 1,12 Mrd. Euro und enttäuschte mit dem Ausblick. Dazu ein Rohstoff-Spezial: Gold steigt auf rund 5.225 USD je Feinunze....

European markets were lifted at the open and oil slid after US President Donald Trump predicted the war with Iran would resolve “very soon.” Trump insisted the operation was ahead of schedule and signaled that he will waive some sanctions on oil to boost supply and bring down prices.
Elsewhere in markets, Hugo Boss posted a profit and sales beat with the shares rising as much as 7%, while UK homebuilder Persimmon shares rose as much as 12%, the most since April 2020, as the company's full-year results proved better than expected.
