Second Quarter 2026 Highlights
Revenue of $578.7 million, an increase of $82.0 million or 16.5% year-over-year driven by the Polytec acquisition in the WS segment as well as higher selling prices for merchant acid, sulphur products and Regen acid in the ASP segment. This more than offset lower selling prices of chlor-alkali products and lower volumes and selling prices for sodium chlorate in the EC segment.

Zölle und Energiekosten treffen auch Polytec, aber "es ist müßig, auf jede Reaktion von Trump entsprechend zu reagieren", so CEO Markus Huemer. Das meiste Geld verdient Polytech weiterhin mit Passengers, Cars and Light Commercial Vehicles, also PKWs und leichten Nutzfahrzeuge, darunter viele mit Elektroantieb: "Je mehr Elektromobilität kommt, umso glücklicher sind wir, weil grundsätzlich mehr Wertschöpfung schon in unseren neuen Bauteilen für die Elektroantriebe besteht." Der Umsatz ist 2025 leicht auf 666,8 Mio. Euro gesunken, das EBIT ist aber von 3,5 auf 19,8 Mio. Euro gestiegen. "Wir haben uns von unserem Problemgeschäft getrennt und deutlich Personal abgebaut." Die Dividende liegt bei 0,20 Euro Dividende vor, die Nettoverschuldung ist auf 17,6 Mio. Euro reduziert. "Das Jahr 2026 bleibt anspruchsvoll.
