Stop 'Rooting For Failure' In Gaza: Vance In Israel Lambasts Western Media
Vice President JD Vance was in Israel Tuesday, where expressed confidence that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip would hold, despite a brief flare-up in fighting on Sunday which saw Israeli forces launch dozens of new airstrikes.
During visit to the newly established US-Israel ceasefire coordination center in Kiryat Gat, southern Israel, Vance emphasized he's optimistic the truce will hold, but also that Hamas must be fully disarmed. He was joined by Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and senior adviser and the president's son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Nuclear Weapons Issue Was Less Pressing Than Netanyahu Claimed Before Attacking Iran: Israeli Media
Via The Libertarian Institute
Private discussions between Israeli officials before launching the war against Iran in June indicate that Tehran's development of nuclear weapons was not an immediate concern. At the time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran's nuclear program was an immediate threat.
"We are at a historic moment with a crucial decision. If we don't stop [them], within a few years, they will get tens of thousands of kilograms of [nuclear] explosives," the Prime Minister said at a top-secret meeting the day before launching the war. "Iran has already enriched fissile material at a level that is enough for eight to nine bombs, and they are working on the weaponization."

"The government of Israel has engaged in systematic and widespread crimes against humanity, war crimes and genocide, including indiscriminate and deliberate attacks against the civilians and civilian infrastructure," said the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS), joining a growing list of institutions and governments who've reached the same conclusion.
