Konecranes to supply 24 cranes for Hitachi Energy′s transformer factory expansion in Ludvika, Sweden (Cision)

Konecranes has won an order to supply 24 overhead cranes to Hitachi Energy for its expanded transformer manufacturing facility in Ludvika, Sweden. The new cranes will support the safe and efficient handling of transformer components and materials throughout the production process. The order was placed in September 2025, with delivery and installation scheduled in phases between March and September 2026.
The 24 cranes are comprised of 12 Konecranes S-series cranes and 12 Konecranes CXT overhead cranes and will be installed in Hitachi Energy's new 20,000 m² production building and test...
