Triebwerksbauer GE Aerospace hebt Jahresziele erneut an (DPA-AFX)

Umsatz und Gewinn sollen stärker steigen als gedacht, teilte das Unternehmen am Dienstag in Cincinnati mit. So soll der bereinigte Umsatz nun um einen hohen statt um einen mittleren Zehner-Prozentsatz steigen. Der um Sonderposten bereinigte operative Gewinn soll 8,65 bis 8,85 Milliarden US-Dollar (7,4 bis 7,6 Mrd Euro) erreichen. Zuletzt hatte Konzernchef Larry Culp hier 8,2 bis 8,5 Milliarden Dollar als Ziel ausgegeben.. --- Nun sprach Culp von einem "außergewöhnlichen" dritten Quartal. So stieg der Umsatz im Jahresvergleich um fast ein Viertel auf 12,2 Milliarden Dollar. Der bereinigte operative Gewinn wuchs um gut ein Viertel auf 2,3 Milliarden Dollar, und der Überschuss sprang sogar um ein Drittel auf 2,5 Milliarden Dollar nach oben..
