NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global Infrastructure Partners („GIP“), Teil von BlackRock und einer der weltweit führenden Infrastrukturinvestoren, gab heute den Abschluss einer endgültigen Vereinbarung über den Erwerb einer Beteiligung in Höhe von 49,99 % an Eni CCUS Holding („Eni CCUS“) bekannt, einer führenden globalen Plattform im Sektor der CO₂-Abscheidung, -Nutzung und -Speicherung („CCUS“).
Derzeit umfasst Eni CCUS die Projekte Liverpool Bay und Bacton im Vereinigten Königreich sowie das Projekt L10 in den Niederlanden, außerdem besteht die Option zur Beteiligung am Projekt Ravenna CCS in Italien – allesamt wichtige Vermögenswerte, deren Ziel die Dekarbonisierung von Industrieclustern ist. NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global Infrastructure Partners (“GIP”), a part of BlackRock and one of the world's leading infrastructure investors, announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 49.99% interest in Eni CCUS Holding (“Eni CCUS”), a leading global platform in the carbon capture, utilization, and storage (“CCUS”) sector.
Eni CCUS currently encompasses the Liverpool Bay and Bacton projects in the UK, the L10 project in the Netherlands and has the option to participate in the Ravenna CCS project in Italy – cornerstone assets aimed at decarbonizing industrial clusters. The agreement also grants Eni CCUS the right to participate in potential future projects related to Eni's depleted oil and gas fields once the relevant regulatory and market conditions allow.
