Trumps erklärte Kriegsziele umfassen die vollständige Zerstörung des iranischen Raketenprogramms, der Marine sowie des Nuklearprogramms und – implizit – einen Regime-Change.. --- Die vorhandenen Onshore-Pipeline-Alternativen – Saudi-Arabiens East-West-Pipeline und die UAE Habshan-Fujairah-Pipeline – haben eine kombinierte Kapazität von rund 3 Mio. b/d. Durch die Straße von Hormuz fließen täglich aber über 14 Mio. Barrel – die Pipelines können also maximal nur rund 20% des Volumens auffangen. Für sämtliche LNG-Exporte, vor allem aus Katar, gibt es keine Alternativen zum Seetransport durch die Straße von Hormuz. China-Exposure: Peking ist der Hauptabnehmer von Erdöl aus der Golfregion und insbesondere von Öl aus dem Iran.
