Automotive News, which routinely reveals the rankings of global automotive parts supply chains mid-year, recently published its latest list. Most of the top five global Tier 1 suppliers remain familiar names, but structural changes in electric vehicle (EV) demand have caused slight shifts in their rankings. Looking at total automotive parts sales for 2024, Germany's Bosch holds the top spot with revenue down 2.7% year-over-year; Japan's Denso rose one position to second place with a 1.5% increase in revenue; Canada's Magna slipped one rank to third, maintaining flat annual revenue. Germany's ZF Group remains fourth, experiencing a 25% decline in revenue, while China's CATL stays fifth with a 14.8% drop in revenue....
