Der chinesische E-Autohersteller BYD gedenkt seine Produktionspläne überraschend umzustellen: Statt wie geplant in Ungarn zu starten, soll nun das Werk in der Türkei hochgefahren werden... --- Die Verlagerung der Produktion von Ungarn in die Türkei wäre ein herber Rückschlag für die Europäische Union, die gehofft hatte, dass ihre Zölle auf in China produzierte E-Autos chinesische Investitionen und gut bezahlte Arbeitsplätze im verarbeitenden Gewerbe anziehen würden. Viele der im neuen Werk in der Türkei produzierten Fahrzeuge sind zwar auch für Europa bestimmt, bei der Einfuhr in die Europäische Union sind aber keine Gebühren fällig..
