A director of Hong Kong-based Prince Jewellery and Watch has sold a flat in Kowloon and upgraded to a two-storey unit in the same neighbourhood, with an analyst saying that wealthy homeowners are taking advantage of improving sentiment to swap their dwellings.

Der Einzelhandel leidet unter einem Nachfragemangel, insbesondere aufgrund noch niedriger
Reallöhne. Langlebigere Konsumprodukte laufen besonders schlecht, Lebensmittel und Gesundheitsprodukte hingegen gut. Dieses Jahr dürfte das Wachstum real 3 % betragen. Kommendes Jahr können die Fiskalpakete Abhilfe schaffen, langfristig kommt es aber auf weiter steigende Reallöhne an.. --- Die Reallöhne erreichen gerade einmal das Vorkrisenniveau von 2019 und trotz ersten Zuwächsen liegen sie noch fernab des damaligen Wachstumspfades.
