Multiconsult and Rejlers plan to merge (Cision)

Multiconsult Group and Rejlers Group today announce plans for a merger of equals. The new group will be named Multiconsult Rejlers and will become one of the Nordic region's leading engineering consultancy groups, offering advisory, engineering and architectural services.
Viktor Svensson of Rejlers will become President and CEO of the combined group. Kristin O. Augestad of Multiconsult will continue as CEO of Multiconsult Norway and also become Deputy CEO of the combined group. Multiconsult Norway will be the Group's largest segment, with approximately 3,400 employees.

The board of directors of Multiconsult ASA has appointed Kristin O. Augestad as interim Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. Augestad will serve as interim CEO while the company progresses the proposed merger with Rejlers.
