Level 127.88 formed by the trend break in March 2020 is ahead. Premarket: Gap down on increased volume. We mark the trend break level in the premarket at 140.0. Trading Session: The price held the 140.0 level twice during the first hour after the opening of the trading session. Note the clear hold in the first case and the hold with false breakouts in the second. Also note that each subsequent pullback was smaller than the previous one. We are considering a short trade to continue the downward movement in case of the breakdown and hold of the 140.0 level. Trading scenario: breakdown with retest (tightening with retest) of level 140.0 Entry: 139.67 after breakdown and hold the price below the level. 7/30/25 :: VROCKSTAR :: NASDAQ:ALGN Beat, but i'm only dip buying - 20x PE for growth, leadership position, 5% fwd fcf gen... great - consumer names on mgn doing just fine as we over spend from the mar/apl pullback - a higher cost discretionary purchase? hrm. tough to say. - i think result is +ve and stock is higher. it's health-care-adjacent and not an insurance company or pharma (cough NYSE:NVO ) at-risk industry - any decent result but smaller either "beat" or w/e on the mgn that sends this back toward $180... has me dip buying (though that's not my expectation, just my reaction function - and unless there's a real stink bomb inside the print) V

2/5/25 :: VROCKSTAR :: NASDAQ:ALGN Dip buy, but not necking out - sub 20x PE for teens PE growth - industry leader - last man standing - nearly 5% fcf trends - stable trends, rates probably don't help and google trends just inflected in Jan but hard to see mgmt talking this up - good #s don't seem to be properly rewarded in this tape - bad numbers are offering amazing buying oppty - so i'd dip buy this. i'd expect a +ve reaction, but if doesn't perhaps there's something to do - tough day w NYSE:UBER and NASDAQ:NXT , so i'm nursing back to health before i get back in the ring for the rest of EPS, taking the night off :) Gl to u all V

ALGN looks very weak, even considering high probability of the trendline temporarily holding the support for a while. This confluence of patterns is killing all long ideas.
