Ferronordic has, through its subsidiary Rudd Equipment Company, on January 30, 2026, completed the acquisition of the business of Housby Heavy Equipment, the dealer for Volvo Construction Equipment in most of Iowa. The transaction was done through an asset purchase. The price paid for the assets amounted to USD 17.7m, of which USD 17.3m related to machines and spare parts. Ferronordic's US subsidiary, Rudd Equipment Company, has agreed to acquire the business of Housby Heavy Equipment, the dealer for Volvo Construction Equipment in most of the state of Iowa. Housby's territory borders the northern parts of Rudd's territory. The acquisition is in line with Ferronordic's strategy to grow Rudd's footprint in the Midwest. In accordance with previous communication1, Henrik Carlborg has become new CEO and President of Ferronordic. This follows today's decision by the AGM to appoint Lars Corneliusson as executive Chairman of the Board. Henrik Carlborg has worked at Ferronordic since 2013. Ferronordic's Nomination Committee has notified the Board of Directors that it intends to propose Lars Corneliusson as Executive Chairman of the Board at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on 15 May 2025.
