WATERLOO, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PolyML, a developer of advanced machine learning and data analytics technology, today announced a strategic investment by Martinrea International Inc. (TSX:MRE) a diversified and global automotive supplier. The initial investment of $1.5 million provides Martinrea International with a minority equity interest in PolyML and reflects its assessment of PolyML's technology and its applicability in complex industrial environments. Subject to agreed conditions, the total investment is expected to increase to $3.0 million over the next two years.
In parallel with the investment, PolyML and Martinrea International have entered into a multi-year services and collaboration agreement covering the deployment of PolyML's technology within automotive manufacturing operations, as well as the joint development of new solutions intended to support operational efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
