RED BANK, N.J. and UNIONDALE, N.Y., Dec. 29, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- OceanFirst Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: “OCFC”), (“OceanFirst”), the holding company for OceanFirst Bank N.A., and Flushing Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: “FFIC”) (“Flushing”), the holding company for Flushing Bank, today announced entry into a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which the companies will combine in an all-stock merger transaction. Upon completion of the Flushing merger, Flushing Bank will merge into OceanFirst Bank, with OceanFirst Bank surviving the bank merger. Based on OceanFirst's closing stock price on December 26, 2025 of $19.76, the transaction is valued at $579 million and will create a high-performing regional bank with a significant presence across attractive New Jersey, Long Island and New York markets....
