BRS Resources and Cariboo Rose Commence Drilling at Cowtrail Copper-Gold Project (The Newswire)
|
|
Vancouver, BC – August 18, 2025 – TheNewswire - BRS Resources Ltd. (“BRS”) (TSX-V: BRS) and Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. (“Cariboo Rose”) (TSX-V: CRB) are pleased to announce that drilling has commenced at the Cowtrail Copper-Gold Project, located near the community of Horsefly in the Cariboo region of south-central British Columbia.
The 4,592-hectare (11,066-acre) Cowtrail property lies 15 kilometres southeast of Imperial Metals Corporation's operating Mt. Polley Mine and is contiguous with the Woodjam and Redgold copper-gold porphyry projects owned by Vizsla Copper Corp. Cariboo Rose has held 100% ownership of the property since 2004.
Situated within the prolific Jurassic–Triassic Quesnel Terrane, Cowtrail is prospective for copper-gold porphyry mineralization. Past exploration, including reconnaissance drilling in 2007 and 2011, defined a southwest-trending vector of increasing mineralization beyond earlier drill coverage. Historical intercepts include:

Vancouver, BC – TheNewswire - July 29, 2025 – Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. (TSXV:CRB) (“Cariboo Rose”) and BRS Resources Ltd. (“BRS”) are pleased to announce that a drill contract has been signed to begin diamond drilling at the Cowtrail Copper-Gold Project, located near the community of Horsefly in south-central British Columbia.
Project Overview
The 4,592-hectare Cowtrail property is strategically situated 15 kilometers southeast of Imperial Metals' Mt. Polley Mine and borders Vizsla Copper's Woodjam and Redgold copper-gold projects. Cariboo Rose has held full ownership of the property since 2004.
Cowtrail is positioned within the Jurassic–Triassic Quesnel Terrane, a prolific mineral belt hosting numerous copper-gold porphyry deposits. Historic reconnaissance drilling in 2007 and 2011 tested induced polarization (IP) and soil geochemical anomalies defined by earlier surveys in 1997, 2004, and 2006. This work identified a southwest-trending vector of increasing mineralization extending bey...
