Veidekke has been engaged by Equinor Energy to build a new water treatment plant at the Sture oil terminal in Øygarden, just outside Bergen. Veidekke has won the competition for the new psychiatric building (PHA South) at the New Aker Hospital in Oslo. The contract with Helse Sør-Øst RHF for the collaboration phase was signed today, and further development of this billion project starts immediately. “We sincerely thank Helse Sør-Øst for their trust. Veidekke has signed a contract for the next phase of Malmö Designer Village, which will become Scandinavia's largest outlet for fashion and lifestyle brands. Veidekke is today presenting its market update for the Scandinavian contracting markets for the period 2025–2027. Following two years of significant downturn, the market appears to be approaching a turning point. Veidekke has been commissioned by the Swedish Transport Administration to execute a so-called critical contract on the Korsvägen section of Gothenburg's West Link rail project. Veidekke has been commissioned by Akademiska Hus to complete a full renovation of the Zoologen building in Gothenburg. The project is a design and build contract with an estimated total cost of approximately NOK 315 million. Occupancy of the building is expected to start in fall 2026.
