Nickel News

Nickel ist ein silbrig- weißes Metall, welches überwiegend aus kupferhaltigen Eisenerzen gewonnen wird. Etwa 60% der jährlichen Produktion werden in folgenden Ländern abgebaut: Russland, Indonesien, Philippinen, Kanada und Australien. Der größte Teil der Nickelproduktion geht in die Stahlveredelung als Legierungsmetall. Des Weiteren wird der Rohstoff für den Apparatebau und als Katalysator in der chemischen Industrie eingesetzt. Nickel wird in London an der LME gehandelt.
