Already formed perfect cup and handle pattern, retraced the 0.618 at $11.91. Then hit the 1.236 fib at $16.34, then retraced back to top of cup as new support. If it hold support, it should retest $16.34 and then on to $19.08 at 1.618 fib.

NYSE:QS – Flat Top Breakout at $14.50–$15 Zone
QuantumScape ( NYSE:QS ) is setting up for a flat top breakout right in the $14.50–$15 range, and the chart plus themes behind it make this one worth watching closely.
? The Setup:
Multi-week base pressing into the $14.50–$15 resistance zone.
Price action is tightening with volume contraction — a classic pre-breakout signal.
A clean move through $15 could trigger a momentum run.
? The Themes Driving It:
1️⃣ Battery / Alt Energy Trade – The whole sector is catching momentum as the AI data center buildout pushes energy themes higher.
2️⃣ Quantum Hype Tailwinds – Even though NYSE:QS doesn't actually do quantum computing, the “Quantum” name attracts speculative flows whenever that theme gets hot.
? My Trade Plan:
1️⃣ Entry: Starter near $14.50–$15 with anticipation.
2️⃣ Add: Full size on breakout through $15 with strong volume.
3️⃣ Stop: Below recent base lows — keep it tight.

NYSE:QS QuantumScape just announced a demo of their battery on a Ducati motorbike. Their solid state battery is getting closer to commercialization with Volkswagen as a backer. Could reduce fire risks and improve drastically charging time. Has a 10x potential, huge base and huge recent volume makes this chart interesting on the upside. Resistances/targets in the $15, $29 even $56 areas first. Then $84 and $132. Key support at $3.77.

#QS - 4HR [Will the last boost last or will it bust? (TradingView)

With a new Volkswagen investment and partnership. Quantum Scape's earnings were far from stellar with a 26% decrease in income compared to same time last year. They have, nevertheless, made advancements with their very promising lithium-Metal battery technology.
With fundamentals aside, I am curious to gauge how long-term investors have priced-in the company's stock price.
Technically, I see price moving to present yet another opportunity by EOY if not sooner. My count shows important levels to watch.

- Does this thing continue to ape higher a la meme market? idk idc
- I think pre-revenue stuff can be interesting if there's clear visibility toward scaling revenue or the costs are contained, but let's be real... 4 years post de SPAC and this thing has just ""now"" turned the corner
- maybe.
- i'll give you that. maybe.
- i'm not close to it, i'm going to turn over the battery "rocks" tonight to see if i can find anything more compelling than NYSE:SES (ironically, the smallest cap battery-related name... usually it's the opposite - the big stuff is more de-risked and obvious)
- so here we have a co that's just doubled it's stonk price on this announcement
- do investors genuinely believe manufacturing is "easy" or this transition to scaling or monetizing the JV w VW will start to justify a nearly $4B enterprise value "easily"?

QSR baby! That's what that stands for to me. Anyway, it took a ton of searching, high and low to find this stock. The markets just haven't really turned from their bearish sentiment even after a strong day yesterday. I need to add some long delta to my portfolio and think this stock is just the one.
